Okay readers this is a huge, huge, HUGE topic that I had to write about. When you’re in a relationship for some reason there are always people damning your relationship. Haters are what we call them. But we all think that haters are only outside people but please beware of the Slithering Snake! According to dictionary.com slithering is defined as to slide down or along a surface, especially unsteadily, from side to side, or with some friction or noise. The slithering snakes are the people who are closest to you. They may be your sister, brother, best-friend, uncle, auntie or even cousin. They are the people who you at least expect to cross you. Their goal is to conquer what you have or something like it. They could be trying to get your man/woman or to make you as miserable as they are. As we all know misery loves company. When you discover that you have a slithering snake among you at first you may be shocked. You may think but why would they do that to me? I thought they loved me. They may love you but remember how you love may not be how others love.
Signs of a Slither Snake
- Calling your girl/man ugly (friction or noise)
- Always knowing your business but secretive about theirs (slide down or along a surface)
- Trying to be besties with your mate (unsteadily)
- Only seeing the negative in your mate (unsteadily)
I’ve had someone to tell me that the boy I was seeing was ugly but when I claimed him all of a sudden she was so interested in him. It was like she wanted to slowly take my place. I’ve also had a friend (at least I thought she was my friend) scooped my x right after I dumped him LOL. O’l girl didn’t waste any time. I know ya’ll probably thinking well if you dumped him then why should you care. But I think its messed up to finally found out that your friend wanted your man the whole time you were with him she was just waiting for her chance. I would expect that from outside people but I didn’t expect that I had a slithering snake amongst me. Usually if you go through a breakup your girls are the ones cheering you up, “ Cheer up ol pup” lol but the slithering snakes are the ones who will be happy inside. They finally got their chance to get what they wanted since the beginning. Luckily in my case I really needed to separate myself from that relationship anyways and the slihering snake helped that process move faster. What God has for me will always and forever be for me that man wasn’t the one for me. But I still didn’t understand why would a girl want a man who still wanted to be with his ex. But not to worry because the grass is never greener on the other side.
