Behind the Stitches of AB Christine

Jasmine Stubbs is a 24 year old fashion designer from Jackson Ms, who created a fashion line called “AB Christine”.  With her grandfather name being A B and her grandmother name being Christine, she was inspired to combine both of those names, birthing the fabulous fashion line “AB Christine”. Jasmine actually started sewing in 2011 and she perfected her craft and started designing clothes for others in 2013. She does have set designs for her line but she also custom designs,  making others visions come to life. I was looking for someone to design my dress for the The Juicy Expressions official event   ” A Taste of Juice” coming soon May 17, 2014.  A personal friend advised me to check out “AB Christine” designs. When I went on Jasmine Stubbs Instagram page I saw that she was the actual designer who designed the outfit for the gospel sensation ” Mary Mary’s” new solo artist Erica Campbell which eventually became the fit chosen for the album cover! I went to Jackson State University with Jasmine Stubbs so it was good to see someone who graduated from the College of Business with me making wonderful moves. The Triple Threat {The Creative Artist J.Skyy}

J.Skyy, is a 25 year old creative artist from Jackson, Mississippi. The J in his name comes from his hometown Jackson, and Skyy is because he believes that the sky is the limit. His passion for music started at a very young age, as he was exposed to many different genres of music. This early exposure allowed him to develop a talent for playing the saxophone, violin, and to sing. A triple threat, and to top it all off he is drop dead gorgeous ladies! I was sad that he didn’t give me a sample of his vocals on spot when I requested for him to sing in the interview; however, he said that I can hear his vocals when he drops his new EP “Love is War”. The release date for that new project is still unknown.

First Impression Is Everything {The Heart of Band Kamp’s artist Young Vegas}

There aren’t many that you come across that leave a major impression on you, but when it does happen, you will forever remember them. Kevin Mcghee, better known as Young Vegas, is a 25 year old Band KAMP artist from Jackson Mississippi. I observed him for a while and his work ethic speaks dedication. Not only that, but his heart is filled with modesty. I was fascinated by him before actually meeting him in person because of his attitude toward being neglected from the Mississippi’s top 20 Rapper List. He responded on his Instagram, but instead of being salty he used his absence as motivation. From my perspective I appreciate a real humble artist as that is rare in this industry. If you ask around Jackson who the hardest working artists are, his name will most likely be mentioned in the top 5, if not mentioned first. This is not flattery, others and I have actually asked this question.

Spring Trend Alert!

FINALLY, the time that we all have been waiting for since the end of summer last year, spring and warm weather! I have been hibernating to say the least, but the dull weather caused me to indulge into some retail therapy of course. I have a shoe issue, so as long as I have a cute shoe on I can be wearing a trash bag for all I care. That brings me towards two shoe trends that have been recycled time after time but revamped and modernized in Spring 2014.

Ok, I am totally obsessed with gladiator sandals like never before. I will admit I was not interested in the gladiator sandal in the past because im a heel girl, but what could be more perfect for me than a gladiator heel! I will wear these all Spring and Summer paired with shorts, skirts, and dresses. Just google search “Gladiator sandals” and find the perfect style for you.

Behind the Exposure of Sending Naked Pictures

Have any of you guys sent out naked pictures to your mate, boo thing, or someone who is just a “friend”? If so what was the outcome? Were there any regrets? I have sent a full nude pic a very long time ago in high school to my first love. He did admit to showing his best friend only to brag about how good I looked, but I still wasn’t happy that he even did that small part of exposure. Now days I wouldn’t dare send a naked picture! I never send naked pics no matter what level we are on, because you never know what a person will do if they reach their limit for whatever reason. Also if we are on that level, when we are in person I will allow you to take a mental picture.

I have witnessed dudes expose females that they use to be in love with on social media, through mass text messages, or by showing their friends. I think that is real petty and weak! Showing your friends is one thing although it was sent only for you, but exposing someone disrespectfully on social media is taking things to a WHOLE new level. Especially having the full pages on Instagram and Facebook called Thots Exposed or whatever degrading name you call it, is just pure wrong. What is the world coming to? I do feel like it is a person’s job to be discrete but the men or people who are out here WIYLIN makes it hard to trust someone with a precious picture.

 There were so many times that Badd Banana and I thought about making a male exposed page but we didn’t because you can’t fix wrong with wrong. I’m sure when I’m married I will be able to send my husband a nude picture but till then DON’T EVEN ASK! 🙂 For those who have exposed women on social media because you were mad at her or for whatever alternative reason,  please comment and explain why? Do you think you had the right to expose or do you honestly know you were being petty? At what point did you decide to expose her? How can you expose someone that you used to be in love with? Ladies have you ever regretted sending a nude pic? SORRY if you feel that I am being one sided but I have never seen a woman expose an actual naked picture of a man on social media but if you feel that women do this just as much as men, comment on that because I really want to hear that point of view!
