What Will Happen Within the 4th Quarter?

We’re down to the 4th quarter of the game! Will the rookies score with five seconds remaining in the game?!?!? I guess in due time we will figure this out, only I’m not discussing sports here. Johnathan Leapheart age 23, Jeremiah Johnson 24, David Barber 23, and Correll Dear 22, make up the  group called 4th Quarter. 4th Quarter is a group of talented young men from West Jackson, who’ve actually had a genuine friendship since 6th grade. In 2013, they released a single called “Damn Boi” and later released an updated version featuring Tha Joker. Early 2014, they released a hot single called “Plug Anthem” featuring Cooparachi, which I occasionally bump in my car when I’m ready to turn up.

4th Quarter is currently working on a mixtape called  “Not Rich Not Broke”, which the release date is still unknown. When I interviewed these guys, they revealed a huge goal of becoming the first group to appear as freshmen on the cover of the XXL Magazine. So will they score together by being 4th Quarter? Only time will reveal that answer. This is a huge goal that will take super dedication and focus; however, it is possible and I would love to see these guys fulfill that desire!  Watch the interview I conducted with 4th Quarter below and comment your thoughts!

When Is the Right Time to Introduce Your Lover To Your Child?

When is the proper time to expose your mate to your child or children? Is there a certain rule that you apply? As some of you guys know I have a child and have dated plenty. I never felt the need to introuduce any of those previous guys to my son. But what if I meet someone that I personally would like to grow with? How would I know for sure that it’s time to make that next step? Some may say, wait till you know that he/she is the one. However, how many times have we thought that a certain person was the one but ended up being “the wrong one”? Plenty of times if you were to ask me. We really don’t know how long someone will last unless we are able to forsee the future. So should we go off the longevity of our prediction?

I have been scarred from watching mothers bring almost anyone around their child, espically this younger generation. Some mothers are not taking inconsideration that you are really hurting the child during thier biggest part of development. I have witnessed some kids personalities being effected in a negative way, resulting from the multiple men that have been exposed to them. I didn’t know anyone that my mother was dating until I was a bit more older to catch on to things. However, she never brought multiple men around me.

When first evaulating the credentials of the person, ofcourse they will have to pass the normal checkpoints to be good enough for you. But here comes the question again! When are they good enough to meet your child? One day I asked my  friend who has two kids this same question and her response had me thinking for awhile. She stated that the way you will know that it’s time to introduce your lover to your children, is when you can answer these 3 questions truthfully. Do you trust that he will catch you blind folded on the edge of a building? Do you trust that he is strong enough to catch you? If not strong enough to catch you, do you trust that he will get up there on the edge of the building to be by your side? Those questions are super deep! Can you guys answer all those 3 questions with a yes?

Cooparachi {The Artist Behind Magazine}

I know him as Coop from the College of Business at Jackson State University, but many of you may know him as Cooparachi. Cooparachi is a 25 year old artist from Jackson,Mississippi who is eager to branch off and brand himself as a business oriented artist. You’ve heard him featured on plenty of songs with artists including Paris Bueller, Young Vegas, J.Skky, 4th Quarter, etc; however, the song that has the city of Jackson inquiring about his name is “Magazine”. “Magazine” is Cooparachi’s hot single that was released in April featuring Lil Ron and produced by the popular producer Paris Bueller.

“Dressed to Kill B**** I should be on a magazine”.

Well Cooparachi, if you keep coming with the hot content then I’m sure you will be on numerous magazines. Coop states that he is currently working on his mix-tape that will be releasing sometime this year. The Juicy Expressions will be looking out for it, and will keep you guys updated. Why Not Do It All? {Behind the Talents of Rahkua}

Rahkua is a beautiful multi-talented women who is equally passionate about modeling, singing, and acting. Originally made in Jackson but currently lives in California, she has managed to travel various areas around the world including France to perform art. Rahkua received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Not only has she appeared in independent films, strutted across runways allover counting Jackson, Los Angeles, and Paris, but in 2013 she dropped a project called “Love Loss Lies”. “Love Loss Lies” consists of 13 songs expressing on the different situations and feelings that could occur going through a relationship.

During the interview that I conducted with Rahkua, I asked her if she could only choose one talent to focus on. I now know why she couldn’t choose! She has the complete package being photogenic, the look of fierceness in her eyes while walking the runway, and the expression of song. If you haven’t heard or seen this fresh talent be lucky that you are being exposed to her now. With continued good energy and faith she is destined to make her mark as an artistic creator in this industry. Papernati Coming Soon

Paperboy601, a well known 26 year old artist who is originally from Chiraq but currently resides in Mississippi, came to sit down with me to discuss his new mixtape “Papernati” that’s dropping in the near future. It’s such an interesting name to call a mixtape so of course I asked how that name came about in the interview. In 2007, he started “Ace Gang Muzik” label with Guttamane601. Since then Paperboy601 has collaborated with a lot of other Mississippi artist, some including Hollywood Luck, Flawless Da Richkid, 601grind, AOD601, Guttamane601. Some of Paperboy601’s releases include:
