Release Self Limitations That YOU Put On Your Dreams

Being overwhelmed mentally and thinking that I had to keep up with society’s standards of blogging have kept me away from my love which is blogging. But now I am wise enough to know that (excuse my language) I can do whatever the fuck I want to do. I don’t have to post a blog post every single week or every month if I don’t have the mental energy for it. Me dropping a blog post is like one of your favorite artists dropping an album because most of my posts resonate with your consciousness. Because this has been a constant inner battle for a while, I completely withdrew my energy and that is not fair to me or to the people who really need my energy. When I blog, I feel free af and I can honestly say that although I have found my inner happiness from doing my inner work over the years, I haven’t really felt as free as I did when I was blogging. Freedom is one of the main themes of my life.

I won’t promise that I will abide by societal standards of blogging but I can say that I’m happy to be here in the now with you. I AM a CONSCIOUS BLOGGER. Two things were certain when I started TJE, my love for music, specifically underground music, and my spiritual journey to higher consciousness. I never really established or solidified that TJE was a conscious blog but if I review the past, that’s exactly what it is. That’s what I’ve been on since the beginning. One of the very first posts that I wrote about, was the secret and the law of attraction and that was in 2011 when many were not hip to it. The way I wrote my interview questions was all geared towards elevating consciousness. Because I created TJE for my inner freedom and for the love of blogging/ writing I never knew to make FREEDOM my niche. I’ve been hoarding D.O.P.E. blog topics, inspiring photos, and life-changing experiments because at times I have been mentally overwhelmed.

“Swear that’s my dream, but he too blind to see that
If you doin’ what he love in his freetime
Then his dream already happened” -Big Sean “Everything That’s Missing

I never once in my head gave up on TJE but I had the false belief that life would slow down for me so that I would be able to blog more. I now know that I have to create the time and space for blogging. So if you have a dream or certain desires the time is now. Start working on it when you feel aligned. Don’t worry about the fact that you can’t finish it right now. Don’t worry about the fact that you only gave one hour to your dream today. You have to build up the momentum for creating time and space for your inner desires. You may think that you are living your dream once the milli hits the bank account or once you go viral but living your dream is living in the now on your journey.

So RELEASE any and all SELF-limitations that YOU put on your DREAMS.

I have. I did.

I AM FREE.

KVTheWriter Drops New Album “Unplugged”

KvTheWriter is a St.Louis artist on the rise with an artistic expression that creates an automatic buzz every time she drops new art. From writing poetry and raps since a child, KV is no stranger to expression. She first appeared on The Juicy Expressions very own “We Hustle Cypher” as a poet before she was an actual artist. KV uses her music to help her heal through trauma from losing both her dad and brother to gun violence in St.Louis.

I sat down with KvTheWriter to discuss her new album “Unplugged” in detail. Check out the interview below and support her journey. There are many ways to support this independent artist. Kv is a published author so you can purchase her poem book “Of Magic and Madness“. You can also go to KVTHEWRITER.COM to purchase Unplugged directly.

My favorite track on this album is “Stormy Waters” because it discusses dealing with uncertainty through troubled times. That’s something that many of us can relate to. Watch the interview below and comment your favorite track on the album.

Do You Treat Yourself How You Want Others To Treat You?

I began treating myself how I wanted to be perceived and the world had no choice but to follow suit. -The Dopest Blogger Alive

How nice are you towards yourself? Do you criticize yourself daily or do you often tell yourself that you are doing a wonderful job? Growing up it is likely that you have heard the statement “Treat others how you want to be treated”. I am a supporter of this wise saying but I also believe in the opposite, “Treat yourself how you want others to treat you”.

Answer this question, “how have you been treating yourself”?

When you criticize yourself you attract criticism from others. But when you provide self-approval you will attract praise from others. So many people desire to be loved by others but they are depriving themselves of unconditional self-love. There are people who want others to forgive them of the wrongdoings that they have caused others, but those people haven’t forgiven them self first.

Several people aspire for others to treat them with high respect but those same people allow and treat their self with disrespect. I hear a lot of women talking about how they want a man to view them as a queen or Goddess but some of those same women view their self as not enough, looking through the eyes of lack. Alternatively, there are a lot of men who say they want a “real” women but their inner makeup isn’t filled with “real” matter. Like are you prepared to stop your characteristic trait of dishonesty to even realistically co-exist with a real woman?

Let me get back to the point LOL.

Is it really logical for us to expect others to hold us up in high regards when we are continuously vibrating in the lower playing field?

If you are not treating yourself how you want others to treat you, then you are being a contradiction. It is not someone else’s job to give you self-esteem. Self-esteem can only be achieved through the practice of loving SELF unconditionally. It is your job to view yourself how you desire to be. You have control over the way others treat you but you must begin with focusing ONLY on yourself.

Here are 3 efficient ways to enhance your self-appreciation:

1.  Release the need to judge yourself

This may be a difficult thing to do at first because you were probably raised to be hard on yourself. However, understand the difference between discipline and self-downing. (Major Difference) Don’t judge your self for anything that you do because it is counterproductive and it will only make you feel worst. Acknowledge those things that you are doing that you don’t like only for awareness because if you are conscious of them it is likely that you will not intentionally do it again. If you are continuing to do things that you know is not good for you that’s because you have not yet learned the lesson that you are supposed to learn. Trust me you will learn it eventually. But the point here is DON’T JUDGE.

2.  Visualize and Create

Visualizing and creating is pretty much the same thing because when you are visualizing something whether it is positive or negative you are creating. Since you are now aware of this, use visualization to your advantage! Take a few minutes each day to visualize the exact life that you want. Visualize how you want to be perceived in this world. Visualize more love around you. Visualize yourself living your best life! Whatever it is that you want start visualizing it now. You can also do this in others ways including drawing out pictures, dressing up and taking pictures in front of the company that you desire to work for, sitting outside of the exact house that you want to buy etc. Make your visualization process a fun one and start watching your visions unfold before your eyes. Remember you have to be that which you want to become!

3. Self Praise

I think all 3 of these tips are super lit but this tip right here tho  #LIT!!!!!! Go super hard for your self!!!!!!! Self-praise is the best praise! Do those mirror talks and speak words of beauty to yourself. Tell yourself daily that you are doing a great job! When something upsetting happens, be nice to yourself about it. Be your own best friend! Make a habit of giving yourself great energy and your resilience will strengthen. Don’t wait for others to appreciate you start appreciating yourself and the others will fall in line! Think of yourself as a seed. Choose exactly where you want to be planted but most importantly feed yourself with patience and sunlight. As you begin to blossom into a beautiful flower please remember that flowers do not compete to grow or exist. They find their sunlight and even share the water for nourishment. They always find ways to shine.

So my final question to you is, “Are you treating yourself how you want others to treat you?” If the answer to this question is no, acknowledge it and begin where you are now to make the appropriate changes. You will find that once you begin implementing those new changes other people will start treating you accordingly and its because they will have no choice. When you begin vibrating higher you will attract people on the same playing field. Love you all.

Commit To Release All Fear From Your Life

When you’re afraid of something, do you run away from it or do you run towards it?
That is one of the many questions I asked my best friend Shirleyas on the phone the other night and right now I am asking you.

On September 9, 2017, at 10:15 pm (California time) I decided to release ALL fear from my life. This commitment meant that I could no longer delay from doing things that I really wanted to do. There are a lot of things that I desired to do but I felt that I had to wait for the perfect moment or have all of the right tools to do it. Now I know that you must use what you got to get where you’re going. Things don’t have to be perfect because in reality they never will be.

I don’t fear a lot of things but when I dug deeper within, small things arose to my attention that I am very apprehensive about.  Watch the video below to find out what those things are and to find out why you should release all fear from your life as well!!!!!!

What are some things that you fear? What are your reasons for still holding on to those fears? Comment below!

Negativity Withdrawals: Refuse to Allow Pessimism into Your Consciousness

Late 2016 I came across Wayne Dyer’s Audio Book 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace. I have been studying this book heavily ever since and it has helped me attain new heights of blissful peace. Some of the ideas from this masterpiece has inspired many of my newly written blog posts. Today’s post was inspired from the first secret of the book, “Have a mind that’s open to everything and attached to nothing”. During this first secret, Wayne suggested that everyone should “Refuse to Allow Pessimism into Your Consciousness”.

We have made it to the fourth month in the calendar year and it’s time to assess where you are on your positive journey. There is a high percentage of people who decide to abruptly commence a positive lifestyle near the end or beginning of the year. Although there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, a high percentage of those people default their way back into their previous negative lifestyle shortly after beginning their positive journey.

For many, living a negative lifestyle (life of judgment, hateful thoughts, doubt etc)  feels absolutely normal similar to how a high feels normal to an addictive drug user. Just like there are preferred ways to wean from obsessive drug use, there are also productive ways to keep you consistent on a positive path. I am aware that different methods may work for various people but I am certain that after trying the ones that I have provided and those that you have researched, you will attract techniques that are ideal for you.

Acknowledgment & Appreciation

Acknowledge that your path to enlightenment is a process. It will be a journey from having the attitude that life is completely terrible to having the belief that “Life is Lit AF”. (my personal belief and favorite saying :)) Know that it is okay if you notice yourself thinking negative thoughts. (again it is highly unlikely you will be able to fully change overnight) Your acknowledgment of those thoughts is actually a great sign because it reveals your awareness of where you desire to go on your path.

Most importantly, congratulate yourself for trying something new. While it is easy to keep doing the same things that you have been doing, know that life begins outside of your comfort zone. Establish a daily habit of telling yourself that you are doing a good job. This is something that your subconscious will begin to internalize and it will help you feel better about life. Remember that in order to grow you must have self-approval because self-criticism will keep you dormant which is the opposite of what you desire.

Focus & Detox

There are a million & one things to do throughout a particular day so it is easy to dismiss a positive mindset if there aren’t strategic daily reminders set. Daily reminders of positivity will keep you focused on the things that you truly desire to accomplish. Some daily activities that you can engage in include:

Meditation/Positive prayer– There are many ways to meditate but it is best to explore many options until you find what’s appropriate for you. I’ve personally found it helpful to sit quietly in a comfortable setting for a time period of 20 minutes completely staying in the now and releasing all thought. My favorite guided meditations are  Well Being Meditation by Esther Hicks and the Ah Meditation by Wayne Dyer. I’m also a big prayer, however, when praying please remember to pray in a state of positivity, gratitude, and expectation, as opposed to negativity, lack, and doubt.

Reading Inspirational Text-  Reading positive passages daily absolutely keeps me grounded. Some quick and easy things that I read are my daily affirmations. After reading my affirmation of the day I view myself as if I’ve already manifested whatever it is. If you haven’t yet written your own affirmations you can begin by reading some general affirmations or even some inspirational quotes.

I also love to read self-actualization books.  Some of my favorites are The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, The Vortex by Esther & Jerry Hicks, The Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer, Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch etc. Most books have an audio version so being too busy isn’t an excuse. You can listen to the audio version in your car or even while you’re going to sleep because your subconscious will still internalize those ideas.

Get An Accountability Partner

This process should be a natural one meaning your choice should be someone out of ease. This should be a person who is already where you’d like to be spiritually or someone who individually decides that they too want to begin a positive lifestyle. Just like gossiping is a popular thing to do for some while on the phone, make discussing positive aspects of life a popular discussion. You can encourage someone to take this journey with you but know that you can’t do the work for them. That is why it is best for them to naturally decide a positive lifestyle.

With your accountability partner, you should be able to discuss all of your passions and inspirational goals because there should be an encouraging and accepting vibe between you two. You should be able to challenge each other to focus only on what is desired when one or both is focused on shortage. I have found that having an accountability partner is very helpful and very fun!

Stay Encouraged & Feel Good

Life is not a sprint but more like a marathon. Encourage yourself daily to have a deep appreciation for life. If at first, your gratitude is not natural it will eventually become effortless after making lists of things to be grateful for. Right now you may not be living your ideal life but I guarantee that you can do or have anything that you desire if you believe that you can.

Care about how you feel choose to be optimistic rather than being pessimistic. Ask yourself “Has negativity been working out well for me thus far”? If the answer to that question is no, it is time to try something new and that’s the willingness to live a positive lifestyle.

To feel good is to feel God– Wayne Dyer
